Qualitek Labs Limited
A testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) company founded in 2018 — serving automotive, defence, pharma, and food sectors — with the first JSS 55555 accreditation for defence equipment testing in India.
Company Description
Qualitek Labs provides testing, inspection, homologation, certification, and consultancy services across a wide range of regulated industries: automotive, defence, metals and metallurgy, environment and water, minerals, food and agriculture, and pharma.
Its most notable credential: it was the first company in India to receive JSS 55555 accreditation for testing defence equipment for the Government of India — a standard-setting achievement in a tightly regulated, nationally strategic sector.
Listed on the BSE SME platform in January 2024 at an IPO price of ₹100 per share (currently trading higher), it operates testing laboratories in Pune and Bhubaneshwar, with plans for further expansion in Pune and Noida. A conflict-of-interest disclosure regarding a group company (Interstellar Testing Centre) is noted in its RHP.

Why almost nobody has looked at this yet
-
1
TIC is Under-Covered: Testing, inspection, and certification is a ₹15,000+ Cr industry in India growing with manufacturing and defence — but almost no retail investor tracks it as an investment category.
-
2
First JSS 55555 Accreditation: This is a genuinely differentiated credential in a sector where government accreditation creates durable competitive barriers.

3
BSE SME Listing: Listed January 2024 on the SME platform. Most institutional research and retail screeners don't track SME-listed companies.
